Ava's First (play) Date

We joined this local Moms Group as a means for Ava to spend time with other babies-she seems to really love looking at and being around other children. Maybe it's just that is something new to look at besides me day in and day out. This allows me to interact with other grownups as well. So everyone is happy. We usually try to get together once a week- the group we had been meeting with is mostly older kiddos, between the ages of 2-3years, so Ava kind of got swallowed up in the mix. We have found a few people with babies that are eager to start up a new play group...so yesterday we had our first go of it. It was only Ava and another little guy, named Gabe (he is almost 8 months) .We met him and his Mommy, Leah at the local park. Ava had a great time with him-it was really sweet to watch them interact, touching one another, sharing crackers, and each enjoying a leisurely drink.
